Four Culpeper, Virginia police officers charged into a smoke-filled house without any protective gear to rescue an unconscious man trapped on the second floor — and dragged him out before firefighters even arrived. Officer Ashley Sain was the first through the door. She didn't wait for backup, didn't wait for the fire department. She ran straight into heavy smoke and started checking rooms. Officer Neal Coffey was right behind her. Body-worn camera footage shows Coffey crawling flat on the floor, pushing through black smoke with a flashlight, until he found a man lying unresponsive on a bed. All four officers received valor awards. Three were hospitalized for smoke inhalation that night. The man they pulled out was transferred to a regional burn center. The cause of the fire remains under active investigation. Full story here https://t.co/IquSakZQ3H
